BEX BRYAN

Bex has packed a great deal into one lifetime - six seasons in Antarctica/South Pole Station, a web designer, owner of several retail stores, a professional stylist, a brand manager, a national visual merchandiser, an Exclusive Properties Realtor in USA, an entrepreneur/owner of businesses both in NZ and USA, most notably her successful interior design business on the East Coast, USA for 18 years specializing in homes $5-$45M up and down the East Coast for her clients, many who owned multiple residences.... and her background has helped inform her career as an interior designer - a common vein running throughout everything she has accomplished.

Inspiration is everywhere if you open your eyes to see it....and her extensive variety of work allows her to see through a different lense - to see vignettes differently, to layer pieces and accessorise materials and textures that tell a story - her clients' story.

Her passion lies squarely within the interior design and architecture sphere - and in her next life, she would like to be an architect! But in the meantime, she chooses to work with some of the best brains in the building/architecture and design industry in Australasia - you can see them here.

Bex brings a unique warmth, friendliness, and transparency to everything she does, and everyone she meets. She believes in lifestyle imaging, bridging the gap between what a client visualizes and "mood boards" - both digital and actual. Through accessorizing and layering, adding aspirational images and high quality 3D renders this enables her clients to dive into it - a carefully curated vision that connects her client with the end result.

Her work ethic is second to none - and she makes herself available to her clients 24/7 out of choice. Bex looks back fondly on her extensive luxury interior design work in the USA, but after the sudden death of her husband, returned to family in Christchurch and yet again reinvented what she knows best - interior design.

Her mother says she blooms where she is planted....and it shows!

Great design is never about the designer, it is about telling stories around the client - their life stories, their next stages, what they love (and also what they don't!) the environment and land they have chosen to create their "spot on the planet", and travels....it is about listening, and then translating this into something for their next chapter and beyond..... Delivering beauty, value, and a space to create memories for years to come...

Bex works with Miles Construction on new builds - both residential and investment properties - creating unique homes across all budgets. With both land and home packages, and bespoke designs created for you, she is able to deliver a superb seamless building process with top trades and suppliers. With your own Project Manager, Miles delivers on time, on budget, and always with a Master Builder fixed price contract behind you. Bex loves working with Miles, as this company carries the ethos behind them of "creating clients for life".

Becca was our designer for Tightline for almost eight years. In that time she completed the entire specifications for all of our oceanfront custom homes, and often our clients would ask her to entirely furnish their homes also. Suzi and I built a couple of homes ourselves and it was never a question that Becca would be entrusted with them. She truly became a member of our family, and everyone enjoyed being around her. Her work ethic was incomparable., always doing extras and taking initiative - and was always solutgions based. Every Christmas, she would artfully wrap all our presents with themed creativity each year, colour coordinated lights for the houses etc.

She will be sorely missed.

Becca worked as our designer for almost four years and she was commissioned to complete all the design for our clients on both our investment properties and custom homes. Always fantastic with the personnel on site, we often asked her to also complete the punch lists as nothing escaped her eagle eye! We will miss her accent, her sense of humour but especially we will probably not find a designer of her calibre and creativity again. Exceptional and never met someone that worked harder and produced the best results. Without exception, our clients loved dealing with her, as did all the many trades and suppliers she liased with.

We selected Becca from the pool of the city topdesigner's selected for the annual Charleston Symphony Design Showhome. We loved her kitchen space and consequently hired her to work with us for a year transforming the historic mansion, which has since become one of the Battery's most photographed homes. Working closely with Stephen Herlong Architects, our home was beautifully transformed. Becca was tireless, and bought a beauty to our interiors that visitors frequently comment on - down to her personally hand-painted gold leaf fleur de lys motifs in the music room. Our bespoke octagonal rug with custom furniture pieces are going to go with us when the house is sold! Our Gamecocks media room is spectacular. A young lady of many talents!

Rebecca has completed four of our homes now, starting with a penthouse in Wild Dunes as an investment property. Nothing was ever a problem, and she very cleverly incorporated so many of our travel treasures into imaginative spaces in Virginia that we just love the result!
